Follina is set in a wooded valley with an abundance of springs and vineyards, situated in a hilly area with an altitude of 191 metres in the province of Treviso, in the geographic area of Northern Marca.
It lies on the southern slopes of the foothills of the Belluno Alps, almost on the banks of the River Soligo, a tributary of the Piave.
The area surrounding Follina is rich with history and gave birth to important dynasties that have contributed to the history of the Most Serene Republic of Venice.
For centuries Follina has been a centre of spirituality, finding its natural environment in the Abbey, where in the ancient cloister (completed in 1268) you can enjoy moments of peace and silence, in a timeless atmosphere.
With its historic buildings, ancient places of worship and lush natural environment, Follina is also an ideal destination for those wishing to spend a holiday full of culture, physical activity and good food, while relaxing in the midst of verdant green hills.
